Samsung Electronic has released their early estimates Q1 2013 earnings. According to source, the operating profit is expected to hit about 8.7 trillion won ($7.7 billion) – thanks to their current smartphone line up and the good expectation from the new Samsung Galaxy S4. It is actually a little lower than past year Q4 2012 – $8.27 billion. More detailed breakdowns by division will be released in April 26th. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini picture has leaked online and suspected to be these listed models: GT-19190, GT-19192 (dual-SIM), GT-19195 (4G), and GT-19198 (Chinese). According to the report, it is suspected to be running on Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and will feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display (530×960 pixels) and a 1.6GHz dual core processor. Official announced will more likely to be in June or July.

War between Samsung and Apple never end. But this time no way to sue

So I waited till I fall asleep, btw its GMT 8+ here. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a 5incher display phone with the Full HD Super AMOLED panel with a 1080p resolution (441ppi). According to report, it will hit on 327 carriers in 55 countries, starting in April. For US, comes to the six telcos – AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cricket, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon. It comes in two color which the company named it “black mist” and “white frost.” yes basically the black and white. It is running on Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and powered by 1.9GHz quad-core or 1.6GHz octa-core. And the S4 also has a jaw-dropping 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2MP front camera. This shall be the last leaked of the Samsung Galaxy S IV, which is going to announced very very soon in the hours. It is still the unofficial phone published by IT168. But this looks like it, pretty similar to the SIII and Note II.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be launched in New York next month on the March 14 2013 @ 7pm EST. The GT-I9500 codenamed phone is expected to come with a super clear 440 ppi display on a 5incher diplay @ 1920×1080 resolution. It is also rumored to have a quad-core chipbased and comes with at least 10-megapixel camera with 360 degree snap feature and running on Android 4.2 also known as Android Jelly Bean. The home button may still be available.

According to report, for AT&T subscribers, Samsung has released Android 4.1.1 for the Galaxy S III and it is available via Kies. It is a 738MB download which is big compare to other carriers.

So the war continues. Today the court has approved the addition of iPhone 5, Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note to put into Samsung vs. Apple lawsuit. Apparently both sides are fighting to add hardware to their respective patent claims.

“More devices could be added, too — Judge Paul Grewal specifically warned Apple to “think twice” before opposing future amendments on Samsung’s part, which might include the iPad mini and 4th generation iPad”

It looks like a never-ending war.
