The Motoman SDA10 is an agile dual-arm industrial robot that is capable of frying you an okonomiyaki (pan-fried batter cake). It was shown at the International Next-Generation Robot Fair in Osaka. It is a product of Yaskawa Electric, designed to work independently together with humans in the workplace. The Motoman SDA10 measures 135-centimeter (4.5 ft) tall, weighs 220-kilogram (480 lb). It has 15 joints, 7 in each arm and one in the torso. The many joints allow it to move easily and follow a wide range of motions. The Recon Scout robot is creeping robot the moves around silently with its quiet electric motor. You can control it by a handheld controller within a 100 foot radius. On the remote, there’s an integrated display showing you the position of the Recon Scout robot. The robot is tough enough to withstand some hard impact, it specially built to withstand 30 foot drop onto concrete. No word on pricing and availability.
