Fukitorimushi is a cleaning robot that moves like a worm and cleans up your floor. It is made of world’s first nano-level superfine polyester fiber. This type of cloth can absorb oil and pick up very fine dust particles. The robot will light up red when it spots a dirt area and then will start rubbing the dirt away and then go clean other places. The Dustbot is a US$3.9 million project that aims to create a moderately-sized trash collector robot which can go through narrow street where garbage trucks can’t enter. The Dustbot is capable of analyzing the quality of the surrounding air with its sensors to measure the amount of pollutants such as sulfur oxide, benzene, ozone, and nitrogen oxide.
