The miShake Portable Media Player

The Electro Box has released its miShake PMP in the UK. It comes with a 2.4” TFT color touch display, loudspeaker function, Shocktronix motion sensor for song navigation, 4GB of internal memory, microSD slot, FM radio, audio recorder and a pedometer. The miShake portable media player is available for £119.95 with a pair of miBud earphones included.

Newman M-Touch Portable Media Player

Newman has released a new portable media player called M-Touch. It’s running on Windows CE 6.0 operating system and comes with 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen display, 1.3-megapixel camera, supports AVI, ASF, MPG, 3GP, MP4, FLV video format support and MP3, WMA, ACC, WAV, OGG audio support. It will be available in 2GB and 4GB capacities, priced at $58 and $73, respectively.

Samsung Korea has announced its YP-P2 with T-DMB support for watching Digital TV on the go. At 11.9mm thick, it features a 3 inch touchscreen along with Samsung’s mDNIe (mobile Digital Natural Image Engine) which provides more vibrant colors and optimal contrast ratio. It also has the Bluetooth connectivity for transferring files and content with compatible devices. Aigo has released a new PMP called the MV5920. It support video playback at 720p and will play the MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AVI, DivX, XviD, ASF, WMV9, RM, MP3, WMA, WAV, AC3, and OGG files. Dang! This PMP storage is larger than my desktop, it has 160GB. Pricing and availability has not been announced.

Ramos V8 PMP will receive an upgrade soon. The player comes with a 4.3-inch display, a TV output and a text viewer. It supports MP4, AVI, DivX, RMVB, MP3, WMA and FLAC file formats. The new added will be the automatic detects rotation and show the on-screen imagery. Pricing is still unknown.
