Just want to tell you guys that the new Dell Inspiron Mini 12 netbook has been released in Japan. This netbook is running on either Linux Ubuntu or Microsoft Windows XP OS and it comes with 1GB RAM, 60GB or 80GB hard drive, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, an integrated webcam, and a 12.1 inch WXGA display screen. It is priced $600 above depending on your configuration.

This is when a notebook looks like a notebook. It is called “Mo”, a concept by Joseph Riehl, a redefined and customizable notebook PC to fit the owner needs. It has two touch displays combining to the form of book. The screens will detect each other automatically when installed and it can also be used separately. It has a stylus that work like a mouse, which has the left/right click, scroll and copy/paste button. Touch the screen to read or to make any kind of changes in your book. Someone claims that this is the new MacBook Pro, expected to be unveiled in the 14th October this month. Few changes mentioned: First, it has a two tone case which is first time for Apple. The lid is made of black glossy plastic with aluminum bottom. That reminds of evolution of iPhone. Second, the lid dispenses with hook clasps in favor of a magnetic latch mechanism, like current MacBooks. Third, there’s no multitouch sensitive “glass touchpad”. Toshiba has announced its new Dynabook NX Series notebook. It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 CPU (1.20GHz) and comes with 12.1’’ LED back lighted LCD screen with WXGA resolution (1280×800), 2GB of RAM (up to 3GB), 128GB of SSD or 160GB of SATA HDD, as well as DVD Super Multi Drive, Wifi b/g/n, three USB ports, e-Sata port, and SD card slot. LG has introduced its Xnote Mini NetBook in Korea. This mini laptop is powered by Intel Atom processor, running on Windows XP and comes with a 10-inch LCD display with WSVGA(1024 x 600) resolution, LED back light, 160GB of HDD, 1.3-megapixel camera, 4-in-1 memory slot, 54Mbps wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and 3-cells battery.

The LG Xnote Mini is priced at 699,000(KRW) and you can choose from pink, white and black.

It is powered by Intel’s Atom processor and comes with 10.2 inch display, 1GB of DDR 2 memory, 120GB hard drive, 1.3 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi and three USB ports. Dell is going to release a new mobile workstation this fall. It is going to have a 16 Gigs of RAM which include 1GB for graphics, 1TB of storage in RAID configuration, Quad core processor which is enough to power a pair of 30 inch monitors. There are number of unidentified media slots and an integrated jog shuttle controller. I can’t imagine I have 16GB on my desktop what more to say a laptop. Video after the break. Read more…
