Samsung released their pink version ultraportable Q40 notebook, featuring an Intel Core Solo U1400 (1.2-GHz) processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM, 60GB HDD, an external DVD burner, and a 12.1-inch widescreen display. A 2.53 pounds pink Q40 still includes two USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, and Bluetooth connectivity. It is available now in UK starting on $2,460.

Toshiba Japan has announced their new multimedia notebook of their Qosmio series. The Qosmio F30 which will be coming with a Digital TV tuner and instead of using the the pesky external antenna it features an internal one for you to catch your favourite programs on the move. By using the Qosmio AV Center, you will be able to record your favourite shows on the Hard Drive and as it has analog and digital tuner two programs can be recorded simantaneously or you can view one and record another. Memory has been increased to 1GB for a better performance.

LG TX-EV and LW25-EV EVDO notebooks review

Another product from Korea, LG Korea launched TX-EV and LW25-EV laptops which allow high speed net browsing via your mobile phone using EVDO. The 1.1 kg TX-EV features a 12.1 inch display with a Nvidia Geforce Go 7300 graphic chipset and a T-DMB receiver for watching live TV on the move. The LW25-EV is powered by Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz processor and 1GB of DDR2 RAM. It has a 12.1 inch display and a super DVD multidrive.
