Asus has signed a deal with Italian automobile maker Lamborghini to produce a line of notebooks that sport the car companys logo. The Lamborghini laptop line-up will include glossy black and yellow machines which, Asus claims, “with the look alone, exude power, speed, strength and beauty”. Apparently.

Toshiba’s Qosmio G30 laptop that made its debut at CeBIT has finally been given a launch date of mid-May. The Qosmio G30 is the first HD DVD notebook PC that doubles as a DVD+/-R DL and DVD-RAM burner. Qosmio features in Toshiba’s multimedia PC line and the computer also features a TV tuner and Dolby home theater support. It also features an HDMI output and a full-HD capable 17inch 1,920 x 1,200 LCD and its CPU is a T2500 core duo. The Qosmio G30 will be available for around 400,000 Yen that equals to $3,382.
