LG in Korea has announced a new ergonomic DAP called the UP3 Neon. It is available in 2GB and 4GB and support MP3, WMA and WAV playback and comes with FM radio as well. The UP3 Neon is priced at ₩ 55,000 and ₩ 69,000 respectively. More pictures after the break. Read more…

Lenovo is introducing its new touch screen portable media player, known as the MRT800. It comes with a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 touchscreen display, TF expansion of up to 4GB, and capable of playing RM/RMVB, AVI, ASF, MP4, FLV video files and MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV audio files. No words on pricing and availability.

Itoos T68HD is a Chinese PMP that comes with 800×480 4.3” LCD, 8GB of internal memory, and support the playback of MP3, WAV, RM, RMVB, FLV AVI, MPG4 files and also capable of playing 720p videos either on its 4.3” screen or a TV via TV out. It is priced €66.

This is the VEDIA Idunn A1, an MP3 player designed by Polish jeweler Jaroslaw Westermark. It features 18 carat gold, high-grade silver, and Baltic amber. There were only 10 units produced. Get your pre-order and wait for about two months. No words on pricing so far.

This is the Nextar MA809 portable media player. It measures only 0.25 inch thin which is almost half of iPhone 3G. It is capable of playing MP3/WMA audio files, JPEG/BMP/GIF picture files, AVI video files and also has a FM radio. The MA809 PMP will be out in the second quarter 2009, 2GB for around $100 while 8GB goes $149.

The World’s Smallest Music Player goes to the Apple’s new iPod Shuffle, it is also the world’s first music player that talks to you. The new Shuffle (to be exact: 1.8″ tall x 0.3″) is even smaller than the previous version which is already small.

“The controls of the new iPod shuffle are located on the right earbud cord. With command central now strategically placed in this more convenient location, you can navigate your music — and activate the VoiceOver feature — without taking your eyes off your run, your ride, or whatever you’re doing. It has a 2.4-inch display with blinking LED ‘Red Eye’, e-dictionary function, video/audio playback, FM radio, photo/text viewer, voice recorder and microSD slot that support up to 8GB capacity. Samsung Korea has announced a new Firmware upgrade on their Yepp P3. The upgrades include an improved UI (30% faster) and the ability to directly watch AVI video without conversion.
