The Mp3 Experiment of this year was at Roosevelt Island in New York City. In this Sixth Annual MP3 Experiment, over 2,000 people of all ages have joined the event. They synchronized their watch to the clock on the instruction page, downloaded the mp3, wore a red, blue, yellow, or green shirt, and then traveled to the island. At exactly 4:00 PM, everyone would press play from wherever they happened to be on the island. Check it out after the break.

Samsung has launched a 29mm-thick 50-inch PDP TV ‘PAVV PDP 850′ aka Finger Slim in Korea. It is 40% more power efficient and 20% lighter (26kg) than the company’s previous PDP TVs. It features Samsung’s full HD Crystal Engine, DLNA Support, USB 2.0 Videos giving you the possibility to watch DivX videos, photos, or play your MP3 directly from an external HDD or USB Thumb key to your TV. The 50-inch model is also available, it is 50% slimmer than before and weight at 36kg. The 50-inch and 58-inch are priced at 3,600,000(KRW) and 5,900,000(KRW) respectively.

Samsung has released the Yepp Q2 digital audio player in Korea. It support MP3, WMA and MPEG-4 Video and available in ranging from 4 to 16GB. LG in Korea has announced a new ergonomic DAP called the UP3 Neon. It is available in 2GB and 4GB and support MP3, WMA and WAV playback and comes with FM radio as well. The UP3 Neon is priced at ₩ 55,000 and ₩ 69,000 respectively. More pictures after the break.

The World’s Smallest Music Player goes to the Apple’s new iPod Shuffle, it is also the world’s first music player that talks to you. The new Shuffle (to be exact: 1.8″ tall x 0.3″) is even smaller than the previous version which is already small.
