BenQ-Siemens today released a new mobile phone to China market, the EF51 walkman phone. It sports a 1.6 inch TFT display with 262k colors, USB connection, Bluetooth technology and a 1.3MP digital camera. It also features (besides FM radio), a player for music files in MP3, WMA, AAC and AAC+ formats. It comes with 20MB of internal memory with supports for miniSD slot up to 2GB. It will be available in black and white colors for 9800Yuan which is about USD1221. Photos after the jump.

SavaJe Technologies today announced it new SavaJe-based Jasper S20 mobile phone. It is also the first Java powered mobile to support early access version of JSR-209 specifications. JSR-209 is a set of specifications that include Advanced Graphics and User Interface Optional Package, previously available only in the Java Standard and Enterprise Editions.

These are the new slim LG-KB1500 and LG-LB1500 DMB phones by LG(Dont look at the girls). A major effort was put into the design to create a luxurious-looking device. The case is 19.6mm thick/thin and it weighs 120g. I cant seems to find any information on this phone over the internet. Probably its too new to be review. The Good Design Award 50 Years exhibition is currently on display at La Triennale di Milano (Milan, Italy) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Japans foremost design awards, the Good Design Awards (also called the G-Mark system). One of the highlights of the exhibition which features 20 of Japan’s best known industrial design brand names, is a display of concept phones and computers from Fujitsu.

It seems as if Samsung actually cares about certain complaints concerning their YP-Z5 flash unit. Several users and reviewers mentioned that an FM tuner and/or a voice recorder would have added to the YP-Z5s potential as an allround, modern-age DAP. Samsung went to work, and apparently came up with this thing: the YP-Z5F.
