Buffalo RMUM-8GH Memory Drive

Buffalo has released a new memory drive, the RMUM-8GH. It is actually a mini USB 2.0 MicroSDHC card reader sold with a 16GB microSDHC card, and it support up 32GB MicroSDHC. The RMUM-8GH is available for pre-order at 15,500 Yen ($162).

Kingston Technology Europe released 256GB USB flash drive

Kingston Technology Europe has launched the world’s first 256GB USB flash drive, the DataTraveler 300. It is equal to an outstanding 51,000 images, or 54 DVD’s, or 365 CD’s, or a whole database of documents that is equal to a 1km paper tower. It will be a great device for netbook user who has limited storage. It measures 70.68 mm x 16.90 mm x 21.99 mm and features a transfer rate up to 20 MB/sec. read and 10 MB/sec. write and it is preloaded with Password Traveler security software for Windows. Unfortunately this drive only available in Europe and the UK, priced £565.67 ($924).

I found a noname USB pendrive in my drawer. It is an old, 128 Mb model, so was easy to sacrifice for this project. Also here is an old apple II keyboard too. The apple logo is from the keyboard too.
