LG has announced 2 new LCDs in Korea, they are the Xcanvas LH70 Series, the 47” (40.9mm thick) and 42” (39.7mm thick). Both have 10 000:1 contrast ratio with a 120Hz panel (2ms), LG’s Color Decanting and EYEQ Green. To focus point on these LCDs are the Bluetooth feature. The Bluetooth feature allows you to connect a Bluetooth headphone or mobile phone to your TV or stream Video and Photo from PC. LG has announced its LG LH30FD LCD HDTV series. They come in 47 inch, 42 inch and 32 inches, yes three sizes. The LCD has a unique power saving modes which boasts up to 70% of reduction on power expenses and they are promoted as energy saving devices. No details on the spec yet but these LCDs were expected to be available at Korean first.

Samsung has come out with an ergonomic design 19-inch 16:9 wide LCD monitor ‘SyncMaster Lapfit LD190G’ in Korea market which comes with supports of 20,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response speed and 1360×768 pixel resolution. It also features tilt angle adjustable stand, Magic Bright and UbiSync functions. The ‘SyncMaster Lapfit LD190G’ is with a suggested price of 299,000KRW.

Samsung in Korea has announced their new large LCD with touchscreen technology for business usage and presentation. The LCD will be branded under TS series with 320TSn (32”), 400TSn (40”), 460TSn (46”), 700TSn (70”) and the 820TSn (82”).

Made to be used as POS or Information LCDs, these new panels receives the MagicInfo technology, giving you the possibility manage several screen at the same time in order to display a large video.

Samsung has release their new 22-inch LCD monitor, given a name called CX-2233GW. This LCD boasts a 1,680 x 1,050 resolution, a 300cd/m2 brightness, a fast 5ms response time and a DVI HDCP port. The different from other is that this monitor has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio which can be boosted to 20,000:1. The Samsung CX-2233GW LCD monitor is available in Korea for around €200.

LG is introducing its new double sided LCD display at the IMID 2008 conference held in Goyang City, Korea. The displays are 15-inch and features 14:1 contrast ratio. This double sided LCD is not simply two screens attached into one but a same screen that display both front and back.

Ferrari fans, here’s a monitor awaiting you to buy, the Ferrari limited edition Acer F-22bid LCD monitor. There were only 500 units produced, this 22-inch LCD monitor comes with HDMI/DVI-D24/D-Sub, 20,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m² brightness, 1,680×1,050 WSXGA resolution and 2ms response time.

Philips has released new line of LCD TVs called Flavors that comes with interchangeable frames. It is available in 22 inch, 32 inch and 42 inch. The 42-inch variant features Full HD resolution (1080p), 30,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 500cd/m2 brightness and two HDMI port. They are priced at €549, €799 and €1,199 respectively. Each of the purchase will include two interchangeable frames.
