This is the latest LCD monitor from Mitsubishi, the RDT212H. Its a 21.3-inch LCD panel with UXGA resolution up to 1600 x 1200 pixels. It features a 1000:1 ratio with 300cd/m2 brightness and a 8ms refresh speed. External interfaces include a DVI-D port, DVI-I port, and a D-Sub 15 pin connector. It measures 464.8 x 247.3 x 574.8mm and weighs in at a hefty 23.6-pounds. Mitsubishi will release the RDT212H next month at the price of USD1,765.

Princeton Japan comes out with a waterproof portable 7-inch (480 x 234) LCD TV, the PTV-WWTV7 which comes with a separate TV jack connector, DVD player, 2 channel stereo speakers and it also have a Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11a) connectivity which cover 30 meters. It can last for 3 hours of playback time with its powerful Lithium Ion battery. Waterproof doesnt mean it allows you to throw the whole player into your pool and pick it up again.

Seems like a Korean company, Navisis has produced something which might be useful for everyone. Its a dubbed EZ-Canvas which i notice being put at the side top of a LCD monitor. By using that, you won’t need a mouse anymore. You just need to use a digital pen and click on anything you want on the screen. I wonder if that apply on notebook as well or not. No news on pricing or availability yet.

Samsung Electronics Korea has announced that it has developed the industry’s first amorphous silicon (a-Si) seven-inch, single-chip TFT-LCD panel, that reproduces color in WVGA resolution (854 x 480). The new single chip design uses Samsungs ASG (amorphous silicon gate) technology has a contrast ratio of 400:1 and brightness level of 450 nits.

A group of Korean had just present 3 new LCD screen which hit Korean market yesterday. This three types of LCD model is Eclipse, Jar and Ring (what a name!). It have a LED system in the base of the screen which is blue and red in colour. Cant really get more info on this LCD. Anyone have a more details information, do leave a comment.
