OS X Leopard and iPhone banners at WWDC

Coming Soon…. The Leopard banner reads: “The world’s most advanced Operating System.” The iPhone banner reads: “The world’s most advanced mobile platform.” I don’t see any 3G iPhone stated, probably they want to keep it secretly at this time…We’ll see next Monday don’t worry.

Macfreak.nl has a couple leaked shots of the 3G iPhone. This one has a white back and looks like it is just only the casing. Probably someone has just sprayed it at Colorware. So not sure if this is really the 3G iPhone or not. Check out more pictures after the break. Read more…

Rumor: 3G setting for iPhone?

That’s the proof of 3G iPhone. The picture is captured from the most recent beta of iPhone Software v2.0 showing the preference dialog with 3G setting there. While there’s another news saying that the 3G iPhone may see substantial improvements to the “2 to 3 hours” of battery life common on earlier 3G devices, it may fall short of rivaling the “up to 6 hours” of Internet use advertised alongside the existing models. A guy called Peter has made a robotic plant watering system that uses the iPhone to take the directions. When Safari’s screen rotate from horizontal to vertical, it will send a status update to a web server via JavaScript that sets the watering can up or down. Video after the break. Read more…

Smash My iPhone

One of our readers has sent in this to share with all of us. It was the Toronto Freedom Festival/Global Marijuana (www.torontofreedomfestival.com) two months ago. The crews at Smash Our Stuff (smashourstuff.com) were out in force at the Toronto Freedom Festival. In response to Apple announcing the iPhone being launched in Canada, the team took the legendary Hammer of Justice out for the destruction of the iPhone, right on the main stage (just minutes before the 420 countdown).
