Nokia Surge

It was leaked as Nokia Mako. Nokia has announced it today as Nokia Surge. It will be available from AT&T this July 19. The phone comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Symbian S60 multi-tasking capabilities and also the capility to post messages, images, videos, and comments to web sites like Facebook on-the-go with the pre-installed JuiceCaster application. The phone comes with a 16M colors 2.4-inchdisplay screen, built in Bluetooth, 2.5mm headphone jack, 2.0-megapixel camera, FM radio, a microSD card slot and supporting Quadband GSM network and HSDPA 2.6Mbps wireless data connection. The Nokia Surge will be available via AT&T at $79.99 with two-year contract and after a mail-in rebate.

Remember the Sony Ericsson W350 which was announced last year. There’s a new leaked clamshell phone called Twiggy which was said to be the successor of W350. This Twiggy is a walkman phone with 3.2 megapixel camera and music player control buttons on the clamshell cover. The phone was announced in the October 2008 and press photo was released in March this year. We have just mentioned about rugged phone this morning and today, Nokia has released a rugged phone, the Nokia 3720 classic. This mobile phone is an IP-54 certified mobile phone which is specially designed to resist water, dust and shock. The phone is encased in durable materials and it is entirely sealed to protect the internal parts. With it battery cover locked with screw, there no worry bringing it to wet, dusty and muddy environments. The Noka 3720 classic comes with a LED flashlight, a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 2-megapixel camera, a 20MB internal memory, a microSD card slot and a 2.5mm headphone jack. It measures 115mm x 47mm x 15.3mm and weighs 94grams. The Nokia 3720 Classic will go on sale with an approximate price of €125 ($174) before subsidies or taxes. More pictures after the break. Motorola has released a its 3G full-touch music phone “ROKR” in Korea. It has a full touchscreen while remain the traditional keypad. The phone comes with T-DMB, a 3.0-megapixel camera, VOD, mp3 player, Bluetooth, phone navigation system and more. It comes in two different models, the black & red model and blue & white model. Will be priced at between 700,000(KRW) and 800,000(KRW).
