The rich people camera, Leica has released its M9 which is the world’s first full-frame Leica digital rangefinder, and also the world’s smallest full-frame camera.

“It features an 18 megapixel, full-frame 24 x 36mm sensor, full compatibility with Leica’s M lenses, ISO from 80 to 2500, shutter speeds of up to 1/4000 of a second, a sturdy one-piece, full metal housing, with a magnesium alloy body and solid brass top and bottom plates, a 2.5-inch monitor, and quick access to the features”

Canon EOS 7D is a semi-pro DSLR that features dual DIGIC processors for 8 fps shooting. The new Canon PowerShot G11 is going to release in October 2009, priced at $500. It has a newly-developed 10 megapixel high-sensitivity sensor supporting ISO 3200 allows it to handle low light situations. The Nikon D300s will be out for sale in late August 2009. Here’s Fujifilm’s last digital camera, the FinePix J30. It is a 12-megapixel camera that features a new Panoramic shooting mode, a 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, Picture Stabilization mode, Face Detection technology with auto red-eye removal, maximum ISO sensitivity to 3200 (at 3MP), and a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a charger. The FujiFilm FinePix J30 digital camera is going to be available this August while price has not been confirmed this time.

Olympus has announced its Stylus Tough 6010 (µ TOUGH-6010 in Europe), rugged compact camera series. The hardcore camera is waterproof up to 3 meters, freeze proof up to -10 degrees and shockproof up to 1.5 meters. Featuring 12MP sensor, a 2.7-inch LCD with Tap Control, a 3.6x optical zoom lens. Other features include Dual Image Stabilization and built-in ‘Magic’ filters. The µ Tough-6010 will be out later this month at the price of $488.
