The Cooling food cover: Klara Zavadilova has designed a Cooling Food Cover which can keep your fruits and bread fresh and protected during the day. It is placed on a dining table or on kitchen unit where it is the most accessible. There’s a mild cooling system build on the base plate, connects to power supply and a dome-shape cover ended up by a handle to open. The Cover works with advanced Peltier technologyand the cooling system is CFC-free and free from polluting cooling liquids. There’s an additional ventilator inside the cooling chamber to ensures that the cold is distributed optimally inside the cover.

Here’s a garage concept, a transparent concrete garage model created by architects Neutral, the “Designer Garage”. No worry, no one will stare at your expensive car the whole day because this transparent garage features LCD sandwiched in between the concrete which can be electronically darken. This transparent garage will be selling at the price of $212,000.

This table is called the DeLighTable, a creation from designer Thomas Gardner. The surface of the table is like a touch sensitive screen, by touching it or put any pressure on it you will see the light glowing on the surface. Expo designers have become more creative in how they present their exhibits simply just to stand out from the crowd and impress travel weary seen-it-all designer attendees. Companies are blowing huge budgets building these temporary temples designed to attract peoples. The Salone Del Mobile in Milan has played host to spectacular displays recently. A few international standouts include:
Fujitsu (picture shown above) set out to install a ‘Branding Monument,’ with it’s incredible light soaked bubble. The Fujitsu exhibit created an alternative universe for attendees, who were enthralled by the larger than life graphic and image displays.

Christopher Eves designed a shoe that has a structure which allows the outer skin material to be clamped to it. The outer skin can easily be removed and replaced allowing the users to customize their own likes and upgrade constantly changing aesthetics with different skin colors and textures.

Designer Jon Pugh designed out a device called Intellect has the capabilities to dispense two streams of water (filtered and non-filtered) simultaneously. The device splits in two and allows the user to slide either the filtered or non-filtered faucet to either side of the sink for multiple activities. Besides that it also dispenses measured amounts of water directly from the point of use.
