Virgin Mobile USA has released their first Bluetooth handset with UTStarcom called the Super Slice. It has a VGA camera with 3x zoom and all the basic functions that a phone has. The Super Slice measures only 0.4 inches thin with a height of 4.4″ and width of 1.9″ and weighs at just 2.5 ounces. The Virgin Mobile Super Slice comes with an affordable introductory price of $59.99 and will hit stores this mid-September.

Remember the Levi’s Phone? It was announced in June this year and got its FCC approval and it’s running on GSM network which supporting GSM 850 and 1900 MHz. Microvision has signed an agreement with Motorola to develop the pico projector display solutions for future Motorola products, called PicoP. It is an ultra-miniature laser based display engine that will enable big screen viewing for mobile devices. The details of agreement were not disclosed, however both of them will work together to make a PicoP-enabled prototype phone for demo purpose.
