Sony NSC-GC1 Net-sharing CAM

Sony has released a pocket camcorder called the NSC-GC1 Net-sharing CAM target on YouTube crowd. Net-sharing CAM shoots out QVGA (320×240) video at 15 frames per second and VGA (640×480) at 30 frames per second. Videos are all recorded in Sony’s Memory Stick DUO memory cards. Package includes the Picture Motion Browser and PMB Portable software to helps streamline uploading videos to the Web, instead of heading to YouTube uploading pages, the software will helps to directly publish your videos to the Web. Besides video shooting, this Net-sharing CAM also works as a 5-megapixel camera with built-in flash. The Sony NSC-GC1 Net-sharing CAM will hit stores in September for $200 and it’s available for preorder starting July 19.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS2

Panasonic has unveiled its Lumix DMC-FS2 7.2-megapixel digital camera. It’s pink, for ladies? But sometime guys can have pink gadgets too. Well, this DMC-FS2 comes with 7.2-megapixel CCD sensor, a 3x Leica DC Vario-Elmarit zoom lens, ISO 3200 “high sensitivity” mode, and a 2.5″ LCD display. You can take more pictures than usual as this camera support SDHC card. A full charge will enabled to take up to 350 pictures before it runs off. Panasonic DMC-FS2 will be shipped somewhere this month in Japan. No words on pricing.

Wow! That is crazy, 10,200 x 13,600 pixel image. The 416-megapixel Super10K-HS camera, it gives you a shot of 10,200 x 13,600 pixel image that will takes you 794MB to store it. Super10K-HS is for task like photographing paintings like the above and other stationary objects. It will be priced at $22,995, no words on availability. I wondered who will get this.

Nikon D40X Digital SLR

Nikon engineers have upgraded the Nikon D40 camera and now we have the D40X. It comes with a 10.2 megapixel DSLR includes faster continuous shooting, a wider ISO sensitivity, and the “Retouch” menu for improving red-eye, contrast, and color issues on-the-fly without the need of a computer. D40X will be available next month for $799 including the 18-55 mm kit lens which is $200 more than the 6-megapixel D40 kit.
