An ex-Microsoft employee, Karl Jacob, has the fastest ethanol-based car in the world. It is actually his modified Dodge Viper, he converted his viper into a ethanol-powered car. This ethanol Viper hit up to 218 mph in July. The record is not done by Jacob himself but a driver from Super Viper called Ron Misjak. Jacob had use up to $200,000 to modified this car.

My favorite car brand Honda has released the Civic Mugen RR which limited to 300-units world-wide. Honda has added in power, decreased the weight with new body kit, upgraded brakes all around, a retuned suspension, new wheels and tires, and logo-emblazoned Recaro sport buckets. This Civic boasts an engine producing 240hp at 8000rpm and 160 lb-ft torque at 7000rpm. It will be available by September 13th, priced at ¥4,777,500 ($38,750) at Japan. More pictures after the jump.

Infiniti today unveiled the next generation of its G35 performance sedan. Its complete with 300-plus horsepower engine, paddle shifters, push-button ignition, touch-screen navigation and a rear-view monitor. Not just that, G35 offers high-end Bose audio system that integrates a digital audio converter (DAC) that lets users rip audio CDs and create digital audio files. What surpise everyone is it comes with a “9.5G” hard drive, which serves as storage device for audio files.
