Guys, the fully unlocked Apple iPhone has arrived Hong Kong today. These iPhones can now make phone calls, SMS/MMS or GPRS online without AT&T SIM card. Of course you gotta pay more for this. The unlocked Apple iPhone will costs you a whopping $1,200, only available for the 8GB.

Louis Vuitton has released a series of iPhone protective casing last week in US. The casings were only available in Manhattan and will be selling from $120 for the signature edition while the alligator edition will cost $1120. That’s more than the price of two iPhones.

Cisco sues Apple for having the name iPhone, Cisco obtained the iPhone trademark in 2000 when it acquired Infogear, a small Redwood City, Calif., which originally registered the name. Cisco’s Linksys division has launched Internet phone called “iPhone” a VoIP. The product was officially launched last month.
Natalie Kerris (Apple spokeswoman) said:
“There are already several companies using the iPhone name for VoIP (voice over IP) products. We’re the first company ever to use iPhone for a cell phone. If Cisco wants to challenge us on it, we’re confident we’ll prevail.” Read more here.
Finally it’s out. Apple has announced its iPhone, it is 11.6 mm thin with a 480 x 320 touch screen display with multi touch support and a proximity sensor to turn off the screen. iPhone features a 2-megapixel camera, 4GB or 8GB storage, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, WiFi that automatically engages when in range, and quad-band GSM radio with EDGE. It runs on OS X with support for Widgets, Google Maps, and Safari, and iTunes of course. Partnership with Yahoo, this allows all iPhone users to hook up with the IMAP email. Battery life, 5 hours for calls or video and 16 hours in music mode, standby mode has not been announced. The 4GB will be priced $499 while the 8GB priced $599 on two-year contract with Cingular in US. iPhone will be shipped Stateside in June, Europe in fourth quarter and Asia in 2008. More picture…
