Fostex Japan has announced cone shaped mini speakers. The speakers have to be installed on a plane surface like a table, and using high speed vibrations turns the surface into a speaker. The speaker produces an output of 3 watts and comes with 3.5mm mini stereo jack. The unit is powered by an AC adapter, it measures 99×90mm and weighs 2 kg. Peters aim is to successfully build a completely custom-built computer case, out of stainless steel, that would look like the sort of atomic bomb. NASA has developed a goggles that simulate a strobe-lighting effect by freezing images on the retina that could prevent the nauseating effects of space sickness.
