E3 2006 : Sony PSP Camera

This is a really impressive peripheral which is on display at the E3 2006. This will be one of the highlight of the upcoming PSP camera which will be on sale in September. You only need to upgrade the firmware to use the Eyetoy and obviously it connects through the USB port on the top. This camera is a Sony Viao like webcam so it can take pictures and video with sound.

Free SkypeOUT Call for US and Canada

US Skype users can now use it to call landlines or mobile phone in the US or Canada for FREE. This is going to be painful for the mobile companies — I’m sure a large part of their money comes from people using the “free” long distance that your minutes bring. What about Asian country? Where is ours free SkypeOUT? I wonder what will happen to the local phone company if this free service is available here.

Skype's #1 Country: China — Where It's Banned

Skype has more registered users in China — a whopping 13 million — than any other country (the U.S. has half as many). However, SkypeOut, which is a Skype service that enables Skype users to call regular telephones, is banned by the communist government (at least until 2008).

Sony had just announced the released of a new Skype phone that also serves as a cool mouse.When opened, it looks like a cell phone, and it works with your Skype service perfectly. When closed, use it as a regular mouse.
