Sinoda Plasma Japan has come out with the 145 inch film display which uses six 1m x 1m displays creating 145-inch panel. It has the 960 x 720 pixels resolution and weighs at only 7.2 kgs. The product is still in development stage, the company is scouting for funds to invest in Research.

Samsung has launched a 29mm-thick 50-inch PDP TV ‘PAVV PDP 850′ aka Finger Slim in Korea. It is 40% more power efficient and 20% lighter (26kg) than the company’s previous PDP TVs. It features Samsung’s full HD Crystal Engine, DLNA Support, USB 2.0 Videos giving you the possibility to watch DivX videos, photos, or play your MP3 directly from an external HDD or USB Thumb key to your TV. LG has launched a set of 42 and 47” LCD TV in Korea that use 240Hz panel, similar to the “MotionFlow from Sony”. LG has improved its LCD contrast ratio so as colors and implemented an Anti-glare layer to the LCD.
