For sure it is coming anytime soon, the iPod Nano 4G. iLounge has come out with exclusive dimensional drawings of both the iPod nano 4G and the iPod touch 2G. The iPod nano 4G is said to be the slimmest and narrowest iPod nano measures at 90mm x 40mm x 6.5mm while the iPod touch 2G comes in a more tapered enclosure and will measure 111mm x 61.8mm x 8.4mm.

This should be quite similar to the iPhone 3G
After all this is just rumors so don’t take it too seriously.
