Castrade has released their CV-MP02, an ultra compact projector that uses LED as the light source. It has the 640 x 480 resolution, 0.44-inch panel, 10 lumens and a max power consumption of 10 watts. This projector is going to cost you around $355 to $366.

Samsung has announced its MBP200 Pico Projector today, a portable projector that can be connected to mobile phones or laptop for up to a 50-inch viewing screen. The MBP200 support standard Microsoft Office and PDF for the display. This portable projector also comes with a tiny stand with a telescoping pole hidden inside which capable of turning a paper into a screen to view movies, document files or pictures. Optoma has released its premium full HD projector ‘EP1080’ in Korea market. It boasts the TI’s 0.95-inch 1080p DMD chipset and supports 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, 3,600 Ansi Lumen of brightness and 2,200:1 contrast ratio. With Philips’ VIDI technology, it comes with HDMI port, DVI-D, S-Video, IR receiver etc. The Optoma EP1080 is available this January for 9,900,000KRW.

Adtec Japan’s MP15A Series (AD-MP15A) is a new compact LCOS mobile projector with a VGA resolution (4:3), a 15 lumens brightness, a 200:1 contrast ratio, and a 20000hours of LED lifespan. It measures 27mm x 58mm x 90mm and weighs at only 147g. It is available in black or white and it is priced around €334 in Japan.

Victor-JVC has released its new limited edition of the DLA-HD750. It is limited to only 200 units. Nothing that special except its a “Premium Pearl white” color. The specs are still the same as the previous version ~ a native ratio of 50000:1, and a brightness of 900 Lumens. It is also Full HD with supports for 1080p resolution. Get this limited edition starting December 25th, 2008 that is the Christmas day for €6100. Wow! Santa, I want this one.

This projector has a strong looking design. It is Hitachi’s new AV projector, the CP-X10000. It features 7,500 lumens of brightness, 2,500:1 contrast ratio, ultra-wide range lens shift, 10-bit full digital video processor, 10,000-hour filter and RS-232 Network Bridge. The projector also includes a bayonet-style lens attachment that allows a choice of lenses with a variety of throw distances for different size audiences. Epson in Japan has announced the EH-TW4000 projector, a high-end projector in their Dreamio series. It comes with Full HD resolution based on a new “D7/C2FINE” panel, a brightness of 1,600 lumens, a contrast ratio of 75,000 to 1 with “DEEPBLACK technology” for an improved black level and HDMI 1.3a support (2 ports). The EH-TW4000 projector is going to be priced at $3700 when it hit stores in Japan this 28th November.
