That’s cute! Runat Japan has released a CD player based on a cartoon character Stitch from Disney. Open Stitch’s mouth to reveal a CD tray. The ears will work as speakers and the teeth works as controls buttons. When it is switched on, you will see a green glows in the eyes. It also has AM/FM tuner and onboard speakers that deliver an output of 0.6w x 2ch. The Stitch CD player measures 330×220×225mm and weighs 1kg. LG Korea has launched their new DX540B business projector which features 4000 ANSI Lumens, 2,800:1 contrast ratio, 1400 x 1050 (SXGA) resolution and up to 300-inch display. With the Philips’s VIDI technology, it produces my brightness. It’s silenced to 32db and it can be turned on in 12-seconds and off in just 5-seconds. Beside that it also has vertical keystone correction for proper look and presentation timer function. The LG DX540B projector is available in Korea and priced at 2,900,000KRW ($3,000).

Canon has released its DW-100 autonomous DVD recorder which allows you to record video from your camera to a DVD. Apart from taking those MPEG-2 videos in SD, it also accepts HD video recorded with the AVCHD codec. The DVDs will be compatible with any Blu-Ray players including PS3. You can also plug this recorder to your PC or MAC via USB. The Canon DW-100 will be available next year in March 2008.
