Sharp has released its 940 SH 3G flip phone in Japan through SoftBank today. It comes with 3.4-inch full wide ASV LCD of main display and a 1.4-inch OLED sub display, 12.1MP camera with various camera functions, 1-Seg support, global roaming service, GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, microSDHC card slot for up to 16GB and more. It measures 51×111×16mm at 130g, with 340 hours of standby time, 200 hours of talking time and 4.5 hours of 1-Seg playing time. Choose from Fuchsia Pink, Luminus Blue, Precious Gold, White and Black.

LG Electronics has launched a new smartphone called ‘LG GW550′ in twenty countries starting in Brazil and Argentina. It is running on Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and comes with 12mm-thick 2.4-inch LCD screen, 3.2M camera, Wi-Fi support, A-GPS, high-performance dual-speaker and front-facing QWERTY keyboard. It also has the ‘Smart E-mail’ and ‘Smart Contact’ functions. The LG GW550 is a phone targetting on businessman.

Casio IT-800 RGC-35 is an industrial PDA phone that comes with an large 3.7-inch VGA screen with a low-reflection touch panel and superior visibility both indoors and outdoors. There’s transparent shock absorption material between the LCD and the touch panel making the display become shock resistance. It has the 3G wireless WAN (HSDPA) capability, providing a high-speed data connection with a maximum download speed of up to 7.2 Mbps. Besides those, this phone is also IP54-rated dust/splash proof and can withstand the dropped on concrete from a height of 1.5 meters. It will be available by the end of January in 2010.

LG has released a new 2G mobile for golf players in Korea, the LG PRO aka LG-SB210. The phone is preloaded with 280 golf courses maps and other golf-related service. Other features include a 3-inch touchscreen with 240 x 400 pixels, G-sensor, compass, calories calculator, GPS, a 242MB of internal memory and a MicroSD card support. Verizon Wireless has unveiled new choco, it is the LG Chocolate Touch. It comes with a touchscreen LCD display, a 3.2-megapixel camera with built in digital zoom and a range of software editing features, FM radio with 12 presets, and access to social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. The LG Chocolate Touch is available for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with two-year contract.
