Wow ho, two screens lappie. This is the Thinkpad W700ds, it comes with choice of Intel Core 2 Quad processors and combined with the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700M GPU. It support up to 8GB ram and a total 960GB of SSD / HDD storage. You will get a 17-inch screen and it also comes with an integrated WACOM digitizer.

Why two screens? Most people are using two monitors at their desktop. So we wanted to give them all the things they are used to on their desk,” said Wes Williams, worldwide product marketing manager for ThinkPads.

This lappie runs on Windows XP Home Edition OS, powered by Atom N270(1.60GHz) processor and comes with a 10.2-inch wide display(1,024*600 resolution) with LED backlight, Intel 945GSE Express chipset, GeForce 9300M GS GPU, 160GB HDD and 1GB of memory. Other features include 6-cell battery pack, HDNI port, Altec Lansing built in speaker, 802.11n wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 1.3M webcam. Onkyo’s Sotec is introducing its latest 15.4-inch notebook, the Sotec DR 701, that boasts 1280 x 800 resolution. This lappie is powered by a 1.53GHz Core 2 Duo P9500 CPU and comes with 2GB of RAM, 250GB of HDD (SATA at 5400rpm), DVD Super Multi and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 with 256MB of VRAM. You can carry this around for ¥149, 800, that’s around 1222€.

MSI Wind Netbook U100 Vogue netbook

MSI has announced its new netbook in Japan, the ‘Wind Netbook U100 Vogue’. You can choose from four different colors ~ angel white, wind for love, empire black and romantic pink. The netbook is powered by Intel Atom 1.60GHz processor, running on Windows XP Home Edition(SP3), and comes with 1GB of RAM, 945GSE Express chipset, 160GB HDD and a 10.2-inch wide display. Besides that, you will also get a 1.3M webcam, 4-in-1 card reader, USB 2.0*3, Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. The Wind Netbook U100 Vogue netbook measures 260×180×19.4~40mm and weighs at 1.32 kg. The netbook is expected to be available on December 13th for ¥56,800 in Japan.

It is a 10.2 inch netbook that is powered by Intel Atom N270 1.60GHz processor, and comes with 1GB DDR2 RAM, 16GB solid state drive or 60GB hard drive option, 3-cell battery, a 1,024 x 600 resolution LCD display with LED backlight and running on Windows XP Home OS. While other features include an integrated webcam, built-in stereo speakers, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, an Ethernet port and support for Verizon or AT&T mobile broadband. Price will start from $700, depending on the specs you’re getting.
