The first generation iPod Nanos goes kaboom. Owner reports that his nano was plugged into his notebook, after 10 minutes charging, it starts emit a sizzling sound and in a little while it exploded open, spewing sparks and smoke. The issue has been reported to Apple’s customer service but still waiting for the official response and plan of action.
