Archos has announced the new Archos 9 mini Tablet PC. It supports Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition and comes with 8.9-inch tablet PC supports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, Full HD video support, a QWERTY virtual keyboard, a 1.3-megapixel webcam for video conferencing and up to 5-hours of battery life. Nokia can’t for the Nokia World next week so they announced their N900 tablet first. This tablet features Linux-based Maemo software and a full touch screen. It is running on the new Maemo 5 software, support multi-tasking and powered by a powerful ARM Cortex-A8 processor, up to 1GB of application memory and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration.
The Nokia N900 has 32GB built-in storage and can be expandable up to 48GB via microSD slot. Besides that, you got a WVGA resolution touch screen, HSPA and WLAN wireless data connection and slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The Nokia N900 will be available starting October 2009 in selected market. It comes with an estimated price of EUR 500 excluding sales taxes and subsidies and will be displayed at Nokia World, Stuttgart, on September 2.
