Mac Xbox 360

Something goes interesting today, someone replaced the brain of Xbox 360 with an old Apple PowerBook G4. This casemod is done by Modder Phil Herlihy and he decided on the name Xbox G4. The system is powered by 867MHz G4 processor and features a built-in 60GB hard drive. There’s no way to get the Xbox DVD tray working, so an Apple Combo drive was installed at the side of the console which require a cut at the side. Disassembled Sony PSP-3000

PSP-3000 just went on sale in Japan. I was reading news in Kotaku this morning and was pretty surprised looking at this. Website PC Watch has got their hands with the new PSP-3000 but instead of showing off the games and features, they ripped them off into pieces. Sony released Firmware version 2.50 for PS3

Besides the 5.0 for PSP, Sony also releases the new 2.50 firmware for the PlayStation 3 owner. The 2.50 firmware allows you to do screenshots during the game and also features enhanced voice chat, and several power saving options. Sony released Firmware version 5.0 for PSP

Sony has released new firmware version 5.0 for the PlayStation Portable known as the PSP. The version has the PlayStation Network that allows user to access to the PlayStation Store and download contents directly their PSP. Nintendo Wii to receive storage via SD card

Nintendo announced that the Wii console will get storage for storing and playing games from (DRM) via a SD card slot. The cards will be available from spring of next year and the maximum capacity will be 2GB.

Nintendo DSi

Nintendo has announced the DSi, the successor to DS Lite. It has slimmer body and a 3.25-inch display which is 17% larger compare to DS Lite. A 3.00.3-megapixel camera is equipped at the out and a smaller one at the inside on the hinge. Other features include better audio, a built-in web browser, an SD memory card slot and the ability of downloading games via WiFi. The Nintendo DSi is available in Japan next month at $180 while in the US, the Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime have announced it that the “DSi would not be released in North America until ‘well into calendar year 2009.’ Well, I can still survive with my PSP.
