Nikon announced its D40 in Japan, it comes in 6.1Mpix DSLR, a smaller and lighter case measures 126x64x94mm and 475g. D40 has a bigger screen 2.3” and supports up to ISO16000, SD cards (including SDHC). This new D40 has a new Auto Focus engine and a new GUI. Canon goes into the Media View Market again with two Media Storage models, the M30 and M80 i The M30 comes in 30GB of storage while the M80 comes in 80GB storage. Both of them comes in similar specs except for the storage size, tey both come with a 3.7inch 262,000 color LCD display, 300 cd/m2 brightness, a 250:1 contrast ratio and a 160 degree viewing angle. Pricing and availability has not been announced.

Hasselblad unveiled its H3D, a digital SLR camera which will offer in 22-megapixel and 39-megapixel trim. It comes with gargantuan image sensors which is the largest ones in the world at 48x36mm. Better get yourself a bigger storage if you’re getting this because the dimensions this 39-megapixel frame are 5412×7212 pixels which is over a 110MB per pic. No exact pricing but if you plan to get one, be sure you bring $30k to $40.
