Rumor: iPhone 5S

According to recent reports, the next gen iPhone will arrive somewhere in June 2013 and most likely will called it iPhone 5S. They believe that the next gen iPhone will be available in five different colors: pink, yellow, blue, white & silver and black, and also the phone will be available in two different of screen size which is the very first time Apple has released a phone with multiple display size options.

“Although Apple offers a 4-inch screen on the iPhone 5 and a 3.5-inch screen on the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4, the Company has never offered multiple screen sizes for a single model. We believe this is about to change with the next iPhone offering different screen sizes that we believe will allow Apple to better bifurcate the market and expand its reach.”

Apple loses a million yuan in copyright lawsuit in China

January 2nd, 2013

Apple China

The Chinese court has fined Apple Inc Inc 1 million Yuan ($160,400) for selling third party apps on the Appstore that were selling pirated e-books. So that case, Apple is to pay the eight Chinese writers and two companies for violating their copyrights.

“We are disappointed at the judgment. Some of our best-selling authors only got 7,000 yuan. The judgment is a signal of encouraging piracy,” Bei Zhicheng, a spokesman for the group, told Reuters.

Looks like Apple is facing a big headache in China, back in July, Apple paid 60 million yuan to a Chinese firm, Proview Technology, to settle a long-running lawsuit over the iPad trademark in China. But China has a lot of copycat products, but why no one sue them?
