Linksys WVC200 : Wi-Fi Surveillance Camera

We miss this one few days ago because we are on holiday for 4 days. Linksys had announced their newest Wi-Fi enabled surveillance camera, the WVC200. You can watch a live feed via an internet browser wherever you have internet access. The Linksys WVC200 features a 2x zoom along with pan and tilt functions. Video is recorded at up resolutions up to 640×480. Along with video, the WVC200 also features audio capabilities as well. Up to 10 users can be connected to the video feed, and email alerts can be sent out when motion is detected. This gadget will cost you USD200.

DV182 : New Camcorder from DigiGR8
|

We has just received this new released smallest DV182 camcorder from DigiGR8 which hits Malaysia market not long ago. It features a 3.1 mega pixels camera, 2.0 megapixel COMS sensor with super resolution up to 2048 x 1536 pixels, 4x digital zoom, 320 x 240 pixels of video clip, 1.5-inch TFT LCD, 10.8mm lens and an extra memory card slot which supports SD and MMC. It does not have any internal memory which is quite bad. Only two file format are supported, JPEG and AVI. More info and pictures after the jump.

BT Glide : Bluetooth Home Phone

BT has just launched BT Glide two days ago which could be the UKs first Bluetooth home phone. It operates like a normal mobile phone which can send and received messages using T9 predictive text. It features a full graphic display, 200 number storage, caller ID, 300 meter outdoor range, games, answering software, polyphonic ringtones, ringer melodies, wallpapers and a strange mood lighting. Seems like this phone is pack with bunch of features. It will be available at BT Glide for £199.99.

Creative had just launched “The Live! Cam Voice” few days ago. It features a 1.3 magepixel resolution phone and video capture with 4 times the quality of standard web cameras. Microsoft RngCam : Capture 360-degree
|

This is Microsoft RingCam which is an omnidirectional camera that is able to captures 360-degrees of video. It is made by putting on cheap 1394 digital cameras (640 x 480 each). Images from each camera are combined in real-time to form one large panorama pic. It will be released very soon, and it has higher resolution (3000 x 480) compare to the OmniCam.

Linksys Wireless-G IP phone, the WIP300 enables VoIP via high-speed internet, operates in the 2.4GHz band and it supports VoIP SIP protocols. E3 2006 : Sony PSP Camera

This is a really impressive peripheral which is on display at the E3 2006. This will be one of the highlight of the upcoming PSP camera which will be on sale in September. You only need to upgrade the firmware to use the Eyetoy and obviously it connects through the USB port on the top. This camera is a Sony Viao like webcam so it can take pictures and video with sound.

Free SkypeOUT Call for US and Canada
|
|
US Skype users can now use it to call landlines or mobile phone in the US or Canada for FREE. This is going to be painful for the mobile companies — I’m sure a large part of their money comes from people using the “free” long distance that your minutes bring. What about Asian country? Where is ours free SkypeOUT? I wonder what will happen to the local phone company if this free service is available here.

Skype’s #1 Country: China — Where It’s Banned

Skype has more registered users in China — a whopping 13 million — than any other country (the U.S. has half as many). However, SkypeOut, which is a Skype service that enables Skype users to call regular telephones, is banned by the communist government (at least until 2008).

Normally you would see from the tv that people can turn their shoes into a phone but now the dream almost come true. Even a mouse can be turn into a skype phone. Sony had just announced the released of a new Skype phone that also serves as a cool mouse.When opened, it looks like a cell phone, and it works with your Skype service perfectly. When closed, use it as a regular mouse.
