Here’s the portable DVD player from Philips, the PET830. Philips PET830 comes in a smooth and glossy design. Supported media formats include DivX, MPEG4, MP3 and WMA. Pricing and availability has not been announced, keep you posted as soon as information available.

The VW-J707S from Twinbird Japan wireless and waterproof TV. Once this VW-J707S is connected to the TV cable or AV equipment, the the transmitter unit encodes the images in MPEG-2 and transmits it using Wireless LAN (a/b/g). The LCD can be bring around in your house wirelessly for 150 minutes (battery life) and this 7-inch LCD support a resolution of 480 x 234 pixels. It is waterproof so it is safely used in the kitchen, bathroom or by the pool. It includes a remote control for you to perform basic operation such as like Play, Pause, Rew, FF etc of your DVD player. The LCD measures 245×55×135mm and weighs 1.1 kg while the the transmitter weighs 220×140×57mm and weighs 440 grams. The first look on the picture I thought it was a laptop, no it’s not, it is a portable DVD player. The Amadana portable DVD player comes with a 10.2 inches of 800×480 LCD almost ‘bout the size of a laptop screen. It plays DVD with the Dolby Digital sound and it also read SD memory cards, which means you can play MP3 and MP4 files with this player. It measures Width 264 × Height 175 × Thickness 27 and is available for 134,400 yen ($1,146).

NuTech released its CinePlayer PDP100, it is a stylish wall-mounted DVD player. It weighs 1-pound (280g). It’s touted as the world’s “smallest and slimmest DVD player” at 1.8cm thick and 18mm high. Beside that, this slot-loading player also supports MPEG-4 and DivX files. Available now for $167.

Interesting, the new Maxfield Max-Movie came with music, photo and video player, audio recorder, alarm clock and FM radio. Complete with a sports wristband and high resolution OLED screen too. It has 1 GB of memory storage. The player is compatible with all major online music stores like musicload or AOL. This max-movie will roughly cost you about €169.00 (Around USD $215).

The Pict Star VP8360-B the new digital media recording viewer and photo storage device announced by Axes Corp in Japan, which will only hit the market from 10th July. It is only a DMB device which you will be able to watch TV programs in NTSC/PAL and it also has a FM tuner function. It boasts a 3.6-inch TFT LCD display screen with resolutions of 320 x 240, USB for easy transfer, and 100GB of HDD memory storage.
