Sony Ericsson and Fossil released Bluetooth MBW-100 watch

Sony Ericsson and Fossil the watchmaker has produced the Bluetooth MBW-100 watch. You can control your phone with this wristwatch via its equipped Bluetooth, there’s an OLED display beneath the watch which display the incoming call and there’s a button also for you to reject calls. It will also notify the wearer of text messages and also allows you to control music play, pause and skip. No worries you won’t missed out any calls as there’s an out of range notifier if the watch and phone become separated. The Sony Ericsson MBW-100 Bluetooth watch will be available in silver and black and will be available by 4Q 2006 for $400.

The G version Gun Metal

The G version Gun Metal watch by Twelve 5-9, the watch comes with a Genuine Leather strap and IP Black brushed finish, it’s an all-new look for the G-version. A solid block of metal was cut out and into it were drilled 27 precision holes to display the time. The design is simple and sharp, it’s absolutely a unique watch. Tokyo based designers Yasushi and Makoto were inspired by various architectural concepts around Tokyo and brought them together into this design. This watch will be available soon at Tokyo Flash for 12590 yen ($107).

PowerDisk Mp3 Player Wristwatch with Bluetooth

Check out the cool watch from PowerDisk, the world’s first watch with mp3 player and Bluetooth connectivity. With the Bluetooth you can just hook a wireless headset without wires hanging around you. It is available in 128MB to 1GB capacities and support format includes MP3 and WMA. It will be great to have the 1GB, can stored about 200-300 song but unfortunately I don’t see any LCD display for the song title, it will be hard to search for a song. It is powered by a removable Lithium Polymer battery. Pricing and availability has not been announced.

Dreamcast Watch

Good news for Dreamcast fans, heres’a watch shaped as the ancient Sega Dreamcast game console. Open the disc cover and you will see the analog time display. Not much details on it yet. Japanese game exporter Play-Asia is offering the Dreamcast Wristwatch for pre-order at $129.90 and should be ship on the September 29th.

The Zenith’s (not the electronics maker) Defy Xtreme Open comes out with El Primero chronograph movement and a black titanium case with a shock resistant transparent Hesalite glass displaying the watch’s intricate internals. Besides that it also sport a rotating bezel, helium release valve, and a bracelet made of brushed stainless steel with Kevlar inserts and carbon fiber central links.

Exmocare Bluetooth-enabled Biosensor watch

Exmovere LLC has released its Web-based Exmocare biosensor wristwatch featuring Bluetooth connectivity which can targets the elderly. The Exmocare will let family and other caregivers to keep track of an individual’s physiological and emotional health status. The Exmocare is a Windows-based device which can collect information in every half hour, it will automatically send out alerts to caregivers if any abnormal activity be detected. This data is transmitted wirelessly through a home PC, GSM mobile phone equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, or an in-car GPS system. User will receive alerts through e-mail, SMS, or IM.
