Samsung has announced a new bar-type Smartphone ‘i200′ in global market. It runs on windows Mobile 6.1, featuring the office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, outlook, etc. The phone is works great in the email features, offering the HTML format email, easy editing (cut, copy and paste), and unified email and SMS/MMS management. Other features include a 2.0-megapixel camera, 2.3-inch QVGA TFT screen, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps data communications and a unique ‘light sensor’ can help users minimize the power consumption to adjust lightness of LCD and keypad automatically. The Samsung i200 smartphone will be launched in June in European market and will hit other market within one month.

There’s news around saying that the Nokia E71 will be released tomorrow, May 8th. Here are some expected features on the E71 ~ 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS navigation and the Wifi and HSDPA connectivity. It is believed to come with this size ~ 112mm x 57mm x 10mm. We’ll see that soon.

Here’s a leaked photos of the upcoming Nokia E71 the QWERTY business smartphone. It is said to features a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and that’s all I know and it’s from the image. Haha, still waiting for more info.

HTC Touch Designer Limited Edition PDA Phone is designed by Nic Wong of Nicholas. Nic has created four limited edition of the HTC Touch and they are gone for auction at eBay (highest bid reached SG$151). All proceeds will go to the Children’s Cancer Foundation. Samsung Electronic has released their first HSUPA smart phone called the “SCH-M470” in Korea. HSUPA(High-Speed Uplink Packet Access) is the enhanced version of WCDMA, offering higher data communication speeds for uplink. The phone comes with 2.0-megapixel camera, web browsing, push email, Google search application, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. To compare with the current WCDMA upload speed, the HSUPA demo is 5 times faster. The Samsung SCH-M470 comes with a suggested price between 600,000(KRW) and 700,000(KRW). Verizon has announced the CTIA, the re-branded HTC Touch the XV6900. With original settings, the phone has change to white scheme. It has a HTC’s custom TouchFlo front-end software, a 2.0-megapixel camera, 3G Internet access, Office Mobile editing and Windows Mobile 6 interface. HTC Touch XV6900 is expected to be available in Verizon’s online and retail shop by late April and will go for $350 with two-year contract.
