Robot that solves Rubik’s Cube
|
|

This is the Cube-Kun shown earlier at the TEPIA exhibition in Tokyo. It is a robot that can solve the Rubik’s cube in seconds. It has a giant flat screen as his face. When you pass him the cube, he will recognize the six sides of cube looks like and displays on the screen and he will find the solution in about one second and he is ready to work. The Cube-Kun rubik’s cube robot is created by Kawasaki Heavy Industries. One more shot after the jump.

Tiny Robot playing Pacman
|
|
Hmm….interesting. These tiny robots are running on wristwatch motors and controlled by infrared remote. Each of them is powered by regular watch batteries and has a quad-directional movement. It measures 1.8cm wide and 2.5 cm tall and is capable to be the Pac-Man. Check it out after the jump.

Mini Battle Robot could replace Human Soldiers one day

Toyota developed violin-playing humanoid robot
|
|

Toyota has developed a robot which is capable of playing violin. It has 17 flexible joints and mechanical fingers. It measures 1.5m tall and weighs 56kg, the robot can achieve vibrato on a violin similar to the one created by human. Video after the jump.
