Sanyo LP-Z3000 projetor

Sanyo has released its LP-Z3000 projector. This projector is specially made for home theaters. It is equipped with the Dynamic Predictive Frame Interpolation Technology and it boasts 65,000:1 contrast ratio, 19-decibel fan and Advanced lens shifting function. It will be released on November 28th, 2008 in Japan.

JVC D-ILA Projectors

JVC D-ILA Projectors include four models and they are priced at $6000 - $8000. Each of the four models will be equipped with JVC’s full HD D-ILA technology, which uses three (RGB) devices to deliver a naturally rich, flicker-free picture, and both of the high-end models they are the DLA-HD750 and DLA-RS20 will feature THX Certification, THX Movie Mode, a pre-calibrated video setting for watching movies, and a 30,000:1 contrast ratio. Sanyo Full HD LCD Projector
|

Sanyo has announced their new PLV-Z700, a HD projector. It comes with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, 1,200 ANSI lumens, and 2x zoom and lens shifting function. Besides that, it also features 3D Color Management and Advanced Image Mode. The Sanyo PLV-Z700 is going to be released in the UK in October 2008. No words on pricing.

LG HS102G Projector
|
|
LG Electronics has launched a palm-sized portable projector codenamed HS102G in Korea. It measures only 54 x 117mm, weighs 780g and run at 23dB. This DLP projector features 30,000 hours of a LED lamp life, 160 ANSI lumens of brightness, 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 1.1M short throwing distance, USB port and a built-in 1.2W speaker. It comes in black finish with a red button and with a suggested price of 790,000 (KRW) excluding the girl.

NEC NP41 and NP61 projectors
|
|
NEC has released to DLP projectors, they are the NP41 and NP61 which offers 2300 and 3000 lumens respectively. At 3.5-pounds weight, both of them comes with 1600:1 contrast ratio, XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, “BrilliantColor” technology, AutoSense, 15-pin RGB, RCA, S-Video input connectors and audio input, HD compatibility, ECO Mode technology and quiet operation at less than 32dB. The NEC NP61 priced at $1,399 and NP41 priced at $999.

Mint Wireless V10 pico-projector

Good, good, good..! Mint Wireless is going to released the V10 pico-projector which known as the world’s smallest projector that is capable of projecting 50-inch 640 x 480 image. The device measures at just 125 x 55 x 23mm, it will go on sale in Australia in the coming September 2008. V10 can be either connects to the laptop or use media stored on its 1GB of internal memory or via its SD slot. According to Mint Wireless, the LED bulb has a lifespan of 20,000 hours, and the best of all, it requires no “warm up” and is ready for use instantly. Projector’s brightness and battery details have not been announced, but for battery, they claim that a single charge will give hours of use. The projector itself is manufactured by Aiptek (a company who make budget HD camcorders and digital notepad). The V10 pico-projector will be priced around AUS$649 (US$602).
Remember to bring one to the cinema and start projecting your movie at the side.

Samsung P400 Pocket Projector

One of our friends “Marcio” has requested for the Projectors category, there you are. The above is the Samsung P400 Pocket Projector, a portable projector. It is now available in the US and it comes in glossy black finish and features 800 x 600, a contrast ratio of 1,000 : 1, and 150 ANSI lumens. Other than that it also include a remote control, two 1Watt speakers, RGB, Composite, S-Video, and stereo audio input. No words on pricing.
