QCOX is a new portable media player in Korea market now. It runs on Window CE 5.0 on AMD Alchemy CPU. It features a 4.3 inch screen, 30GB HDD, DMB tuner, Macromedia Flash UI and TV out. There a wheel at the side for letting choose the functionalities. This PMP will be available in September, no word yet on pricing.

Creative’s Zen Neeon 2 is commendable for supporting more files MP3, WMA, WAV, AVI, and JPEG. Available in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities, this player came with a 1.5 inch CSTN display, FM tuner, USB 2.0 connectivity and an impressive 20 hours battery life (for audio). Size; measures just 81 x 42 x 12.5mm and weighs 50g. Pricing will be; 1GB - $125.95, 2GB - $170.26, and 4GB - $195.58. No word yet on availability.

Looks like the Oracom UB890 portable media player is already in the stables - what we need now is an official release date to unleash this beast to the market. The UB890 supports the most common audio and video formats including MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, MPEG, AVI, MWV, and ASDF. It is a flash-based player and comes in capacities of 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB. It is highly recommended to purchase the 4GB version as that is the standard these days, and less memory wont get you very far. With an 8 hour battery life for video playback, the UB890 is shaping up to be a serious choice for the casual user.

Tiny enough to slip in your pocket, this Mini RoverTV is compatible with Flash/SD memory and supports TiVo To Go for easy recording. Plus, you can also record FM radio, DVDs, CDs, MP3s, and MP4s. Gigabyte unveiled a new PDA PMP mobile phone, the g-Smart i which is only available in Hong Kong at the moment. It’s a tri-band GSM mobile which has an integrated Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. It also features a 2.1-megapixel camera, 2.4-inch TFT LCD with 26,000k colors and it comes with a 256MB miniSD memory card. g-Smart i runs on Windows Mobile 5 which comes with pre-installed office applications and Microsoft Direct Push Email. Toshiba come out with a new Windows powered PMP with DMB, the V30T which offers a 3.5-inch QVGA display (400cd/m2), 30GB HDD, DMB TV Tuner (OneSeg), and a video recording capabilities. Supported formats include WMA, MP3, and WMV. It measures 124 x 22 x 75mm and weighs 88g. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.

RAmos has announced its latest PMP V2000 which offers you DMB, PMP and GPS functionalities. The V2000 features a 4.3-inch, 480×272pixels, 1600k colors touch screen TFT LCD and it runs on WinCE OS which means it can run most WinCE applications. It has MP3 Player, MPEG4 Player, Photos viewer, T-DMB receiver and GPS receiver and it will come with a remote control. Price is still unknown.
