The Streetcarver
|
|
Your first look will tell you that that this is a skateboard. But well, it’s not. This is the Streetcarver made from stiff wood and fiberglass. It has a steering mechanism which makes it ride more like a snowboard. Turning characteristics largely depend on the angle of the mechanism’s swing lever arms. Not sure where to get a brand new one but the used version is available at eBay for $488. Video after the jump.

Hand in Hand
|
|
Watch this, it’s really touching. It is ballet called ‘Hand in Hand’ performed by Ma Li and Zhai Xiaowei. According to YouTuber kooshking in the comment - Ma Li lost her right arm at age 4 and Zhai Xiaowei his left leg at 19 during road accident. Zhai had no prior dance experience before the accident. Ma taught him to dance to get him out of depression. They have won the CCTV dance competition with this dance. Video after the jump.

Lighted Billiard Balls

Finally it’s here, last time I always told my friend that it will be great if we got a glowing 8-ball games. This is the Lighted Billiard Balls which consist of regulation-size and weight (5 1/4 oz.) billiard balls that illuminate and flash for two seconds upon impact with the cue ball, other balls, or the rail, creating a streak of light. Each of them has 4 integrated LEDs that are powered by a battery that provides up to 50,000 flashes per ball. Have you seen birds living in the aquarium with the fishes? They call this the “Birdcage inside a Fish Tank”. It’s actually an aquarium in an aquarium. Great idea, but the inner aquarium mush be heavier so you can’t use the plastic one, unless the heavy stone in it to gain the weight.

Husqvarna Automower
|

The Husqvarna Automower is a battery-powered mower that cuts your grass automatically. Compare to others, it is quieter, operating at 63 dB while other gas mowers were 95-100 dB. Its blade disc will stop as soon as it is lifted from the ground. It has the Collision sensors to stop and reverse the mower when it lightly bounces in to objects. The blades are lightweight and out of reach. There’s also PIN code and an alarm to prevent unauthorized use.
