Gibson HD 6X Pro Digital System
|
|
Gibson presents their HD.6X-Pro Guitar System. The HD 6X Pro electric guitar comes with traditional Les Paul design, the pickups on the HD 6X are a new system system called “HEX” by Gibson which uses 6 small humbuckers positioned under each of the string at the bridge that will send 6 individual signals to studio-grade preamps and allows them to be immediately digitized. Those digital signals are then sent to a box called the Bob – Break Out Box using a special type of Ethernet port by Gibson called MaGIX that can hold up to 32 bi-directional channels of audio using a single cable. Then, the Bob can be connected to a multi-channel sound card where the guitar can be recorded with professional software such as Cakewalk Sonar which included with the instrument. This Gibson HD 6X is now available for $5000. More pics…
