HTC Dream Android phone at $199 next month
|
|
The HTC Dream the first Google Android smartphone is expected to be released this month, priced at $199 the same price with Apple iPhone 3G.
The Google Android gPhone will be available on the 13th October, USD 199 ~ 2-year contract, a specified data plan, and Gmail account.
So is this going to be better than the iPhone?

|

Philips M200 is a candy bar phone that runs on dual-band GSM 900/1800 MHz networks. It has a 65k colors, 1.8 inches screen at 128 x 160 resolutions, GPRS, WAP 2.0, USB 1.1, 3MB memory with microSD card slot, FM tuner and integrated music player with music key. Other basic features include Alarm clock, calculator, calendar, currency converter, and stopwatch. The only thing that missed out is the camera. Yup, this phone has no camera. While its Li-Ion 1050-mAh battery will definitely give you some serious talktime. No words on pricing and availability.

The HTC Touch Viva has the TouchFLO too, houses an ultra-sensitive 2.8-inch touch screen for navigation through contacts, media and web pages.
It is powered by TI’s OMAP 850, 201 MHz processor and running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It has the Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 2.0-megapixel camera, microSD for memory expansion, wifi and measures at 104.5 mm x 59 mm x 15.75 mm.

Here’s another Mickey phone that is not from Disney. But at least, it has a better design…than the Tian Lai F4.
It comes with a Mickey theme, 2.0-inch 262k TFT touch screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD slot, FM radio and all the basic functions such as currency convertor, to do list, world clock, unit converter, health test, and calculator
The LT2 Mickey phone is available for $142.82

Spy Shot: Unnamed phone from Asus

Here’s a spyshot of an unnamed device from ASUS. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and has a similar display as the Omnia. The front facing camera tells you that the phone will have 3G connectivity. Others rumors specs include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a microSD memory card slot, mini-USB for connection purporses, and a trackball that functions as the D-pad. This unknown phone also believed to have a 5-megapixel camera without flash.

Vertu the well-known company for luxurious phone has come out with its Signature S series. There’s only a little info about it. The handset will be running on Quad-band EDGE/HSDPA 850/2100MHz bands, designed with V-shaped keypad and boasts a Wi-Fi connectivity. No words on pricing and availability.
