Linksys WRT610N dual-N band router

Cisco has announced the Linksys WRT610N dual-N band router. It is capable of using 802.11n WiFi on both 5 and 2.4GHz at the same time.
Needless to say, the higher throughput, shorter-distance devices can obtain the highest-speed 802.11n access at the same time as the rest of your devices can get the usual, more compatible 2.4GHz access they look for.
The Linksys WRT610N router is available now for $200.

World’s First 160GB 1.8-inch SATA HDD from Toshiba
|

Toshiba has announced the new line of the 1.8-inch hard drives adopting ATA interface and the first in the industry to features 160GB capacity in this type of drive. It boost interface speed to 1.5 Gbps and offer a rotation speed of 5,400 rpm faster than the current gen of Toshiba 1.8-inch hard drive (the MK1214GAH, parallel ATA, 120GB.) The Toshiba new 160GB drive is codenamed MK1617GSG while the 80GB codenamed MK8017GSG. Both will enter mass production this August. Press release after the break.

Kyocera annouced the World’s Fastest High-resolution Inkjet Printhead

Kyocera has announced the world’s fastest high-resolution inkjet printhead for commercial application, the new KJ4 series printhead. It will go on sales globally starting April next month. The KJ series has a full-color print speed of up to 200 meters per minute at 600 x 480 dpi, or 150 meters per minute at 600 x 600 dpi (that’s about 1,000 sheets of A4 paper per minute). It comes with the widest print line of any printhead in its class, spanning 4.25 inches (108 millimeters).

Fujitsu announced the MHZ2 BJ series Hard Disk
|

Fujitsu has announced their new MHZ2 BJ series of 2.5” hard disk drives that come with rotational speed of 7200 RPM and capacities up to 320 GB. This series is designed for use in high performance notebook and desktop computers. The Fujitsu MHZ2 BJ series takes only 2.3 W of power for read and write operations, ranking it among the most power-efficient drives in its class. It supports the high-speed data transfers through Serial ATA 3.0 GB/s interface. The MHZ2 BJ series will be available at the end of June 2008.
