PSP firmware 4.05 on the way

Sony is soon to release a new firmware for its PSP handheld console and that will be the version 4.05. One confirmed feature to have is the new visualizers for music player. That is pretty fast.

Microsoft Xbox 360 now priced to $299
|
|
Microsoft is going to reduce the price of the Xbox 360 Pro model (20GB hard drive) from $349 to $299. The last price dropped was in August, a dropped from $399 to $349, for the release of Halo 3 in September. The latest slashed to $299 is making the console $100 cheaper than 40GB Sony PlayStation. Come on, slash more, lol.

Nintendo DS Star Wars Lightsaber Stylus

That’s cool! It is official licensed by both Lucas Film and Nintendo. These DS Lite lightsaber stylus comes in either a 3-pack that includes Luke, Obi-Wan and Vader’s lightsabers, or a 2-pack with just Luke and Vader’s sabers that actually light up. The 3 pack will cost youo $8 while the light-up 2 pack will cost $17. Alright, don’t expect them to fit in you DS Lite. More pictures after the break.

The Remix 360 Controller
|

Modder F00 has come out with the remixed controller for the Xbox 360. The action keys were moved to the back and he believes that this will improve the game and it is more comfortable to use. I was wondering how he moved up that right analog control. Check out the demonstration after the break.

Sony PSP 4.0 support Google Search
|

Sony Japan has released the firmware version 4.0 for its Sony PSP console. The new firmware allows you to adjust the video playback to slow motion at 0.5X the speed or FF at 2X speed with its new “up” and “down” keys on the screen. Operation is possible only for video recorder on the Memory Stick and not on UMD’s. Another thing will be the long awaited Google search button, yeah, it is added too and also stores previos 20 searches. More pictures after the break.

Nintendo DS with Guitar Hero: On Tour

Nintendo has officially announced its new silver and black DS branded with the Guitar Hero logo as part of a limited-time bundle with Guitar Hero: On Tour. Pricing has not been announced, the package will be available starting on June 22 when the game goes on sale.

40GB PlayStation Fan Test helps Clean Dust too

Have you guys heard of the dust cleaning PS3 feature found on the 40GB version? Turn off your PS3, off the back switch, hold the eject button and turn on the back switch.
