Olympus E-420 claimed to be the world’s smallest and lightest digital SLR camera. It is comes with 10-megapixel sensor and a 2.7-inch LCD with Live View. This camera is equipped with On-Screen Autofocus, Face Detection, Shadow Adjustment Technology and Perfect Shot Preview. It measures 5.1 x 3.6 x 4.6 inch and weighs 13.4 ounces. Sony Cyber-Shot W300 digital camera

Sony has announced their new Cyber-Shot W300 digital camera, capturing the still shots at 13.6 megapixel sensor. It features the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 3x zoom, optical image stabilization, scratch-resistant titanium covering, 2.7″ LCD display and viewfinder, and the high speed burst mode and extra high sensitivity. The Sony Cyber-Shot W300 is set to released this May at the approximately price of $350.

Nikon D60 DSLR
|

Nikon has announced its new entry-level DSLR, the Nikon D60. It’s pretty much the same with D40x ~ same small-ish size, same 10.2 megapixel sensor and more or less the same OS. The new stuff you get on D60 includes a sensor cleaner, adaptive dynamic range, the ability to recognize Eye-Fi cards, and a stop-motion movie mode. It is an 8.0-megapixel digital camera, comes with 3″ LTPS LCD and a Super Macro mode which is capable to focus at MFD of 1cm ~ 5cm. For those who like simple design then this may be the type of camera you are looking for. It is the Samsung Ultrathin i8 digital camera, with 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD display which will automatically brighten / dim depending on surrounding light conditions and boasts an “intuitive” slide show feature that supports MP3 playback while images flash by. MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV and ASF files can also be played on this camera. The Samsung Ultrathin i8 digital camera will be available next month for $299.

Ricoh Caplio RR770 digital camera

Ricoh has announced their new Caplio RR770 digital camera. It is equipped with a 7.16MP CCD sensor and comes with 3 inch TFT LCD display with 230,000-pixel resolution, 3x optical zoom and limited scene selections. The camera itself has 32MB storage while there’s a SD-cards slot for memory expansion. There’s no pricing info at the moment.
