Hasselblad H3DII-50 the 50-megapixel camera
|

Hasselblad is back with the 50-megapixel H3DII-50. The camera comes with a 36 X 48mm Kodak sensor that provides 300MB files at 1FPS. The camera will be released in October 2008 and the good news is that for those who owned H3DII-39 can trade it up for the H3DII-50 :D

Nikon D700 official
|
|
You have seen the spy-shot the other day, today Nikon has released it the Nikon D700. That’s true, it is similar to D300 but with ‘full frame’ viewfinder and a slightly slower shutter (five frames per second up to eight frames per second with the MB-D10 battery grip). The D700 features Image Sensor cleaning (’sensor shake’), more flexible ‘hard button’ programming, virtual horizon in Live View and different DX mode indication on the focusing screen. Unique part will be its built-in flash, it is the first professional DSLR to feature it. It is available for $2999 for the body only. Check out more details after the break.

Rumor: Nikon D700?
|
|
This is the spyshot of the Nikon D700 DSLR. It is rumored to have a D300 body with D3’s FX sensor. Also, the lens pictured is an upgraded version of Nikon’s AF-S 24-120mm VR unit. The Nikon D700 is expected to be announced in August and start selling in December at the price of $3,300.

Pentax Optio W60 Waterproof Camera
|

Pentax has released a new digital camera that allows you take snap some pictures under the rain, it is the Optio W60. This camera can withstand under water pressure up to 4 meters. It comes with a 10MP sensor, 5 optical zoom and a 28mm wide-angle lens. Other than that, it has sensitivity for up to ISO 6400, and can record HD video (720p resolution).

Samsung NV24HD digital camera

Sony Alpha A900 DSLR availability announced

According to the Sony’s spokeperson, the Sony Alpha A900 was planned to be officially launched during IFA in August or Photokina in September. It is a full-frame 24.6 megapixel DSLR. A clear-bodied prototype was shown in Photo Imaging Exo 2008. Continue reading for more pictures.

MiniDigi AF 5.0 from Rolleiflex

The MiniDigi AF 5.0 from Rolleiflex is digital camera that looks like the original classic twin reflex camera. MiniDigi was introduced by Rolleiflex in year 2006 but it is quickly sold out. This new MiniDigi AF 5.0 now comes in red or black and also got some performance upgrades include a 5 MB image file from a 3MP CMOS sensor, autofocus, and a very clear 1.1 inch TFT monitor, located at the top of the camera as it is on the full-sized Rolleiflex TLR. The MiniDigi AF 5.0 is available via specialty retailers with the expected MSRP of $399.

Nikon D3 DSLR Drop Test
|

What do you think of this? Clever isn’t he? Most of us are afraid of dropping any devices to the ground. Heart break? But not him. He just purposely dropped a 10 year old mobile phone and Nikon D3 DSLR camera from 15 feet on a solid brick floor. It’s a drop test, he is lucky to get back his working Nikon D3.
