Vibrating Alarm Watch
|

Here’s a watch and also a device designed by Engio specially for hearing impaired people. It can be considered as an alarm for them as it will vibrates and blinks when a fire alarm goes off in a building. This watch operates by having multidirectional microphones integrated into the strap. This microphone can detect a drastic change in ambient sound level and will alert the user.

Finger Touching Wearable Mobile Device
|
|
Here’s a new design from Designer Sunman Kwon, a wearable mobile device for enhanced chatting. This device is easier and lighter and corresponding to the 3.5G and 4G communication standard. It uses the instinctive input method “finger joint”. Excluding the thumb, with other four fingers joint it makes up 12 buttons with “the knuckle button”, using a 3 x 4 keypad will be the most popular input method.

Eclipse Design Phone

Here’s a concept envisioned by Rune Larson, the “Eclipse Design Phone”. It features only the bare necessities, comes with an illuminated keypad and a display that conveniently slides into the case when it is not in use. This phone is suitable for those who don’t play with their phone and for those who wants a ‘phone-use only’ type of mobile phone.
