In addition to revealing the “world’s first” true 7.1 surround sound headset during Gamescom 2011, peripheral manufacturer Razer announced its new Battlefield 3 Collector’s Edition line of gadgets and gear slated to hit retail outlets worldwide this October.

According to Razer, this new line includes a little something for everyone, spanning the PC, console and mobile markets: a Battlefield 3-themed BlackWidow Ultimate mechanical keyboard, an Imperator gaming mouse, a Scarab hard mouse mat, an Onza Tournament Edition Xbox 360 controller, a Messenger Bag for storing gaming hardware on-the-go, and an iPhone 4 silicone protection case.

“Everyone at Razer is eager for the day Battlefield 3 launches and we’re going to be right there next to every other gamer immersed in the most hardcore military game to date,” said Robert ‘RazerGuy’ Krakoff, President, Razer USA. “And we’ll be doing it with the Battlefield 3 Collector’s Edition peripherals and gear line by Razer – the best hardware to complement one of the most hotly anticipated shooters of 2011.”

The keyboard will feature a full-fledged, heavy-duty backlit mechanical key infrastructure delivering crisp, tactile feedback and faster keystroke actuation. The mouse will feature a 6400 dpi 4G Dual Sensor System, a rubberized contoured thumb grip and an ergonomic right-handed form factor (sorry lefties). The mouse mat will use Razer’s Fractal 2.0 textured surface tech to aid mice sensors in establishing highly responsive, uniform tracking.

And for those who prefer to play the upcoming shooter on Microsoft’s console (shame on you), the Onza Tournament Edition Xbox 360 controller will come packed with an improved D-pad, adjustable resistance on both analog sticks for better sensitivity control, two fully programmable Multi-Function Buttons and more. The Messenger Bag will be constructed with tear-resistant, weather-proof heavy-duty 1680D ballistic.

Razer’s full line of Battlefield 3-themed products will be available both online and at retailers worldwide on October 25. The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate gaming keyboard will retail for $139.99 USD (EU €139.99 ), the Razer Imperator gaming mouse will retail for $79.99 USD (EU €79.99), the Razer Scarab hard mouse mat will retail for $39.99 USD (EU €39.99), and the Razer Onza Tournament Edition Xbox 360 controller will retail for $59.99 USD (EU €59.99).
