Fujitsu’s new tech will automatically deliver and run apps at scheduled time and place

Fujitsu has announced the development of a platform technology for mobile devices users that automatically performs downloading, running, and erasing of applications and data, in sequence, required at a particular time and place.

Conventionally, users or IT departments have had to setup and install applications and data directly onto information devices before they could be used. This, however, means time-consuming preparation that has become an issue. Users have needed a system that, without any preparation, automatically delivers applications and data-where and whenever they are required-to information devices, as well as a mechanism for preventing information leaks.

With this new technology, data or applications will be automatically pushed to your devices whenever you are entering a certain area like a conference room, for example where you will receive all needed press material and document instantly on your mobile device.

If needed or perhaps for security reasons, sensible data could also be wipe-out automatically from your devices once you leave the office and immediately reloaded to your devices once back at the office, like a ninja!

Fujitsu says that the new technology frees users from having to set up applications and data in advance enabling the utilization of information devices, when and wherever needed. This saves on time and makes it possible to significantly improve operational efficiency.
